Consultation
A two hour consult.
A principal designer walks your house with you for two hours. Three days later you get a written plan. $650, flat, and it comes off the first invoice if we go on to work together.
What you leave with
Two hours is enough to see the whole house, measure what matters and tell you where the first dollar should go.
Within three business days you get a written plan, usually four to six pages. It covers the order we would tackle the rooms in, what to do yourself and what to hire out, a materials direction with six to ten named products, and a fee range for each way of working with us if you want to keep going. No renderings, no sales deck. Just the plan.
About half of the people who book a consult go on to hire us. The other half take the plan and run with it, which is fine with us. That is what it is for.
The two hours
How the time gets spent.
- First 20 minutes. You walk us through the house and tell us what bothers you. We listen and take photos.
- Next 60 minutes. We measure the rooms that matter, test the light, open every cabinet and look at what the house is actually made of.
- Last 40 minutes. At your table, with trace paper. We sketch two or three plan ideas and talk honestly about cost, timing and permits.
Bring your inspiration photos if you have them. Bring your budget number even if it feels low. We can work with low. We cannot work with a secret.

We book consults Tuesday through Thursday, mornings and early afternoons, within about twenty minutes of Los Gatos.
After the consult
$650, credited if we keep going.
If you hire us for kitchen design, renovation design, furnishing or full service design, the $650 comes off your first invoice. If you do not, you keep the plan and our number.
Payment is by card or check, due the day of the visit. Reschedule with 48 hours notice and there is no charge.
