Team
The studio.
Six people. Everyone draws, everyone has been on a job site in the rain, and a principal is on every project from the first walk to the last pillow.
Who does what
-
Elena Marsh
Principal, founder
Started the studio in 2016 after ten years running residential projects in San Francisco. Elena leads every first walk and signs off on every drawing set. She still measures houses herself. Ask her about plaster and clear your afternoon.
-
Jun Takeda
Senior designer
Kitchens and millwork. Jun draws the cabinet sections that make contractors nod and the lighting plans that make you forget there are lights. Twelve years in, half of them here. Keeps a notebook of every drawer height that has ever felt wrong.
-
Rosa Alvarez
Project manager
The weekly site visit, the weekly note, the schedule and the budget tracker. Rosa is the person your contractor calls, which is the point. Former site super, so she knows when a delay is real and when it is a story.
-
Priya Nair
Designer, drawings and finishes
Turns the chosen direction into the full set: plans, elevations, finish schedules, tile layouts drawn tile by tile. Priya runs the sample wall and is the reason the stone always gets checked in your light, not ours.
-
Theo Lindqvist
Procurement and installs
Orders, tracks and receives every piece, then runs install day with two movers and a steamer. Theo knows which sofa makers ship on time and which ones say they do. Furniture arrives inspected, not in a box on your porch.
-
Maya Chen
Studio coordinator
First voice on the phone, keeper of the calendar and the one who makes sure your consult is booked, confirmed and prepped. Maya also runs the studio library and the materials page on this site, which is why the swatches are accurate.

How we are set up
Small enough that nothing gets handed off.
Big firms put a principal on the pitch and a junior on the project. We cannot do that with six people, and we would not want to. Elena or Jun leads your project from the first walk through install day. Priya and Rosa are on it from the drawing phase on. Theo and Maya are in the room for the parts they run.
We take on about fourteen houses a year. That number is not marketing. It is how many a studio this size can draw properly and still show up to the site every week. If we are full, we say so and tell you when the next start is.
Working with us
The first meeting is two hours in your house, with a principal, for $650. You leave with a plan and a number.
